The band played fine, my issues are with the venue. What a disappointment. There were all the usual annoying rules, no bags, pass metal detector, oh, they are taking lighters too now. The shows are so expensive and they sell them right out which means you're crammed in with no room to even see or enjoy the event, especially on the upper floors. I mostly watched the show crouched down under a huge beam, looking through a fence. I tried to dance instead, but there was no room and security guards stopped me and said I was in the way too much. Cost of drinks isn't worth it, cost of tickets isn't worth it. I can't even think of an artist I like enough to be willing to see them here. I'd drive out of state to avoid the House of Blues.
